Marketing Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of marketing experience, preferably within B2B SaaS, ecommerce, technology, or high-growth organizations
- Hands-on growth marketing experience with proven success in customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, or retention
- Strong knowledge of the customer acquisition funnel and conversion optimization
- Experience creating compelling content for blogs, social media, email, and other channels
- Hands-on management of social media strategy, copywriting, publishing, engagement, and reporting
- Proficiency with lifecycle/email marketing and audience segmentation
- Analytical mindset capable of tracking KPIs, interpreting performance data, and implementing insights
- Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, Webflow, Canva, Figma, or similar marketing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong project management abilities
- Self-starter comfortable taking ownership and experimenting
Marketing Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, Shopify, AI, or marketing technologies
- Knowledge of A/B testing, conversion optimization, and marketing automation
- Understanding of product-led or sales-led growth strategies
Marketing Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth marketing initiatives to drive acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention
- Identify opportunities within the marketing funnel and test new channels, messaging, and campaigns
- Track growth metrics and optimize campaigns based on performance
- Own the company’s social media strategy, content calendar, publishing, and community engagement
- Create content for blogs, email, social media, sales enablement, and other channels
- Build and optimize lifecycle marketing campaigns to boost customer engagement and product adoption
- Support product launches with coordinated messaging and campaign execution
- Execute integrated campaigns across growth, content, partner, lifecycle, and product marketing
- Plan and run partner initiatives including webinars and co-marketing campaigns
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain brand consistency and support company growth goals
