Head Chef – Phoenix
This opportunity invites an experienced, hands-on Chef to lead the kitchen of a respected restaurant group in Arizona. The role offers the chance to bring a strong creative vision to the food while maintaining high standards and consistency in an established culinary program.
Chef Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience

Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as Chef, Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or similar kitchen leadership position in a creative upscale environment
- Demonstrated culinary creativity with a history of developing original dishes and menus
- Proven ability in maintaining consistent culinary quality and high standards
- Hands-on culinary skills and technical expertise
- Leadership–training, developing, and managing kitchen teams
- Competence in managing food cost, labor, inventory, ordering, prep systems, and kitchen organization
- Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements
Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, taste, presentation, and execution consistently meet high standards
- Develop creative, operationally realistic, and financially sound dishes that align with the restaurant’s brand
- Supervise, train, and hold back-of-house staff accountable for performance and development
- Manage ordering, inventory, portion control, waste reduction, and food-cost systems
- Maintain recipe, plating, and production standards across all shifts
- Collaborate closely with ownership and restaurant management on menu direction, seasonal offerings, and guest experience enhancements
