Executive Chef
Portsmouth, NH | $75,000–$80,000 + Quarterly Bonus
A busy Portsmouth restaurant is seeking a hands-on Executive Chef with strong kitchen management experience. Serving lunch and dinner seven days a week, we’re looking for a dependable leader with a strong work ethic, solid culinary skills, and the ability to build a motivated, collaborative team.
This role focuses on daily kitchen operations, staff development, and consistent execution of an established menu.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and support the kitchen team through preparation and service.
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Create staff schedules and coordinate kitchen coverage.
- Set clear expectations, hold the team accountable, and step in wherever needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or comparable kitchen leader.
- A stable work history with strong tenure and demonstrated commitment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to earn your team’s trust.
- A hands-on approach, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through.
- Availability for lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends.
