Luxury Resort Manager
We are seeking a seasoned luxury hospitality leader to help oversee the operations of one of the world’s most exclusive private-island resorts. This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic and personable leader with extensive ultra-luxury experience, a strong Rooms and resort operations background, and a proven ability to serve ultra-high-net-worth guests with discretion and personalized attention.
The Island Resort Manager will work closely with the property’s senior leadership to bring its vision to life, lead a high-performing team, and ensure every aspect of the guest experience is seamless, memorable, and thoughtfully executed.

Luxury Resort Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Resort Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Operations within an ultra-luxury hotel or resort
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel or resort environments
- Strong Rooms Division and resort operations experience
- Experience overseeing multiple operational departments, such as Guest Services, Concierge, Spa, Wellness, Retail, Property Operations, and recreational services
- Proven experience serving ultra-high-net-worth guests and understanding their expectations for privacy, discretion, and highly personalized service
- Strong administrative, organizational, and financial-management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop department heads and high-performing teams
- Highly professional, polished, and welcoming leadership presence
- Willingness to embrace the unique opportunities and logistical realities of working in a private-island environment
Luxury Resort Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Previous private-island, remote-destination, or secluded luxury-resort experience highly preferred.
- A visible, hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for supporting the team
- Ability to foster a culture of anticipatory, highly personalized hospitality
- Calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented approach to operational challenges
- Strong ability to balance financial performance and operational efficiency with uncompromising luxury standards
- Confidence navigating complex resort logistics and responding quickly to evolving guest and operational needs
- A “make it happen” mentality and the ability to inspire confidence among guests, associates, and leadership
- Proven ability to build meaningful and discreet relationships with discerning guests
