District Sales Manager- Southern Iowa Territory
A well-established regional foodservice distributor is seeking a district sales manager to join their growing team. This family-owned company has a collaborative, people-focused culture, and is known for investing in employee development — many leaders have been with the company for more than 15 years. This is a remote, field-based role with little to no overnight travel required.

District Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 4–5 years of successful foodservice sales or management experience
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel locally
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
District Sales Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience selling to restaurants, hospitals, schools, senior living, hotels, or retail grocery accounts
- Previous experience managing or coaching a sales team is a plus
- Track record of consultative selling in foodservice distribution
- Eager to grow into a management role and build a career
District Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of 4–6 sales representatives within a designated territory
- Spend 3–4 days per week in the field riding along with reps, meeting customers and prospects
- Coach and develop sales reps to achieve individual and team sales goals
- Act as a liaison between sales reps and clients to close deals and deliver exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute territory sales plans and objectives
- Balance field activity with 1–2 days per week working remotely from a home office
