FSQA Supervisor Opportunity!
Our client, a well-established meat processing and food manufacturing operation, is seeking an FSQA Supervisor to support and oversee Food Safety and Quality Assurance activities within a USDA-regulated manufacturing facility.

Requirements & Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support daily Food Safety and Quality Assurance activities within a USDA-regulated meat processing facility
- Lead, coach, train, and develop FSQA Technicians and Quality team members
- Ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS regulations, HACCP plans, GMPs, SSOPs, SQF, BRC, and customer requirements
- Conduct routine production floor inspections, quality checks, and food safety verifications
- Support audit readiness and assist with USDA, customer, and third-party audits
- Investigate food safety, quality, and regulatory issues and assist with corrective and preventive action implementation
- Oversee product inspections, documentation, product holds, and release procedures
- Monitor environmental programs, sanitation practices, and food safety verification activities
- Review quality and food safety data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Sanitation, and other departments to resolve production and quality-related concerns
- Conduct food safety and quality training for production employees
- Promote a strong food safety culture and reinforce compliance throughout the facility
- Ensure accurate documentation, recordkeeping, and adherence to regulatory and company requirements
- Communicate quality concerns, production issues, and corrective actions to FSQA leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Meat Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred
- HACCP Certification, SQF Practitioner, PCQI, or similar food safety credentials preferred
- Experience working in BRC-, SQF-, or other GFSI-certified facilities
- Previous experience with Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing initiatives is a plus
