A newly reimagined luxury Marriott Autograph Collection resort in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead its commercial strategy during an exciting period of growth.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven luxury hospitality leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, actively selling, and partnering with ownership to drive revenue and elevate a premier destination resort.
Director of Sales & Marketing Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor an established sales and catering team
- Develop and execute commercial sales and marketing strategies
- Grow luxury leisure, group, and transient business
- Build relationships with travel advisors, meeting planners, and key clients
- Partner with ownership and executive leadership on revenue strategy and business performance
- Support marketing initiatives while ensuring brand standards are maintained
- Help position the resort as a premier luxury destination
Director of Sales & Marketing Qualifications:
- Director of Sales & Marketing experience in a luxury full-service hotel or resort
- Marriott experience strongly preferred (other luxury brands considered)
- Proven success growing revenue through both strategic leadership and direct selling
- Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate confidently with ownership and senior leadership
- Knowledge of luxury leisure sales, transient business, and commercial marketing strategies
- Florida resort market experience is preferred
Director of Sales & Marketing Compensation & Benefits:
- $150,000–$180,000 base salary
- Quarterly bonus opportunity (20% annual target)
