Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of fine dining management experience
- Comprehensive food and wine knowledge, including menu development and pairings
- Proficiency with restaurant technology systems (POS, OpenTable, Microsoft Office)
- Demonstrated ability to build, train, and retain high-performing teams
- Strong operational management skills—inventory, labor, and cost controls
- Proven track record of longevity and growth in previous roles
Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience overseeing large, busy dining rooms or operations
- Leadership presence with a focus on guest experience and hospitality excellence
Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead service on the floor with professionalism and confidence
- Drive shift execution and ensure operational excellence from open to close
- Maintain and enforce high standards for systems, service, and guest experience
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve and exceed operational and financial goals
