General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of General Manager experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, private club, or hospitality venue
- Proven success leading high-volume operations while consistently achieving financial and operational goals
- Strong P&L management experience, including labor, food and beverage cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing management and hourly teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on management style
Must Haves
- Lead all aspects of the daily operation while maintaining exceptional service standards and financial performance
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strong client and guest relationships
- Recruit, mentor, and develop managers and team members while fostering a culture of accountability and hospitality
- Partner with department leaders to ensure consistent execution, operational excellence, and an outstanding guest experience
