HVAC Technician Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience is a MUST
- OSHA 10 is required
- OSHA 30 is a plus
- NH Gas Fitter License (Service Level) is required
- Multi-state licensing is a plus
- MA Refridgeration license is a plus
- EPA Universal Certified
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and HVAC systems
- Able to work autonomously (self-disciplined)
- Able to work well with others (teamwork)
- Able to work in cold and hot environments
- Excellent communication etiquette
HVAC Technician Responsibilities:
- Travel to client’s location and inspect equipment, identify problems, and perform necessary repairs or routine maintenance
- If needed, install new systems and ensure all is running smoothly
- Follow safety standards and procedures
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and start-up of commercial HVAC systems
- Handle preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications
- Control wiring and high voltage
- Interprets blueprints
- Work-order documentation
- New equipment start-up and commissioning
