Requirements & Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure and board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric or Family specialization).
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in New York State (or immediate eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient, integrative, or primary care setting (not suitable for recent graduates).
- Deep clinical background treating pediatric populations spanning from newborns to 18 years of age.
Must Haves
- Collaborate daily within an integrated, cross-functional four-person care team (including a Lead Physician, Registered Dietitian, and Member Advocate) to co-create unified, whole-body health plans.
- Conduct extended, comprehensive 80-minute baseline clinical assessments to deeply investigate root-cause health factors rather than managing standalone symptoms.
- Interpret advanced functional testing, expanded biomarkers (evaluating 5x more biomarkers than standard physicals), genetic data, and wearable device outputs to tailor hyper-personalized patient interventions.
- Synthesize complex clinical insights into educational, accessible guidance that empowers parents and patients to master long-term wellness habits.
Preferred Background & Skills
- Prior clinical experience within innovative or concierge healthcare environments (e.g., One Medical, Parsley Health, Morrison Center).
- Certification or formal training through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) or a similar integrative medicine program.
- Clinical familiarity or experience treating neurodivergent pediatric populations (e.g., pediatric patients with autism spectrum disorders).
- Dual experience or comfort in family medicine to fluidly interface with parental health inquiries alongside pediatric care.
