Restaurant Sous Chef's Requirements:
- High-Volume experience 8+ million a year
- 3+ years Sous Chef experience in upscale dining
- Effective organization and communication skills
- Ability to lead by example with strong attention to detail
- Skilled in leading and developing one's team
Restaurant Sous Chef's Responsibilities:
- Execute daily preparation of food in a timely manner
- Ensure proper portions and recipes are followed
- Deliver feedback and hold the team accountable to all standards
- Comply with all purchasing programs
- Expert in using knives and all cooking equipment for preparation
- Ensure all equipment is functioning in proper order
- Comply with all county and state laws governing foodservice operations
