Director of Business Development
Fleet Maintenance and Repair | High-Growth Opportunity
We are hiring a Director of Business Development to help scale a fast-growing fleet maintenance and repair company.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who can generate new business, build a strong pipeline, and help expand the company’s customer base regionally and nationally.
The Director of Business Development will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding into new markets, and leading a small sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to diversify revenue and expand the company’s customer base
- Identify, target, and close new business opportunities within the fleet maintenance and repair market
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities
- Establish relationships with decision-makers at fleet operators, trucking companies, and equipment businesses
- Expand the company’s presence in key Texas markets and nation wide
- Support long-term national growth initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitive pricing analysis
- Track sales performance and report pipeline activity and revenue opportunities to leadership
Qualifications
- Proven track record of closing net-new business
- Strong hunter mentality and entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience selling into fleet, trucking, equipment, or related industries preferred
- Existing industry relationships strongly desired
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
- Experience managing or mentoring a small sales team is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience)
Commission Structure
- 5 percent commission on revenue generated from your own deals
- 3 percent commission on deals passed to the sales team
- 1 percent override on all team sales
Top performers can exceed $10,000 per month in total compensation.
