Assistant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of assistant manager or comparable leadership experience in a fine dining setting
- Proven experience managing annual sales of $8M or more
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Deep passion for hospitality, food, and crafting unforgettable guest experiences
- Strong floor presence and an “ownership” mentality
Assistant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations with a focus on delivering consistent quality and service
- Lead and manage staff scheduling, floor supervision, and guest satisfaction initiatives
- Partner with the general manager to ensure seamless, guest-centered operations
- Uphold standards, implement effective systems, and foster accountability across the team
- Monitor and control costs related to labor and day-to-day operations
- Respond decisively and positively to daily challenges, always seeking proactive solutions
