Food & Beverage Director Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field,
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing applications
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with financial operations, budgeting, labor controls, and forecasting
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of trust
Food & Beverage Director Preferred Background & Skills
- Knowledge of local market competition and industry trends
- Experience coordinating with multiple hotel departments
- Familiarity with cost-control strategies and process optimization
Food & Beverage Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all food and beverage outlets, ensuring attentive, friendly, and efficient service
- Oversee kitchen operations, outlet management, banquet services, and in-room dining
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of all service and kitchen areas
- Guide culinary and service teams on menu development, pricing, and merchandising
- Drive sales revenue, control costs, and improve overall profitability
