A nationally recognized law firm with a strong insurance and litigation practice is seeking a motivated Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills. This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced litigators on complex coverage matters while developing strong client relationships and litigation skills.
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs in insurance coverage and related litigation matters
- Prepare, respond to, and manage written discovery requests and responses
- Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage analyses and recommendations for clients
- Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Review and organize case documents and evidence in preparation for litigation
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court filings as required
Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- Active bar admission in Nevada, Utah, Idaho, or Montana (multiple admissions preferred)
- 3+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a legal team
