Established waterfront restaurant is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations and maintain high standards of food quality and execution. This role works closely with the Executive Chef to lead the back-of-house team, manage service flow, and ensure consistency across all shifts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on kitchen leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in team development, organization, and operational excellence.

Sous Chef Requirements and Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of culinary leadership experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Proven ability to oversee daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and line execution
- Experience supervising kitchen staff, training team members, and leading shift briefings
- Ability to manage prep systems, inventory, food rotation, and storage standards
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to support the line during peak service
Sous Chef Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in high-volume, full-service or coastal dining concepts
- Strong understanding of kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation standards
- Ability to collaborate closely with Executive Chef and leadership team
- Positive leadership style that builds a strong, team-focused kitchen culture
