We are seeking a TechComm Associate to join a nationally recognized Technology, Communications, and Media practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have an interest in communications, telecommunications, media, broadband, wireless, satellite, or technology-related regulatory matters and possess strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience with FCC proceedings, administrative law, litigation, or regulatory compliance is highly valued.

TechComm Associate Responsibilities
- Research and draft FCC pleadings, comments, petitions, and related regulatory filings
- Draft court motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation-related pleadings
- Prepare for depositions and assist with managing the discovery process
- Advise clients regarding regulatory compliance and communications law matters
- Develop strategies to help clients achieve regulatory, legislative, and business objectives
- Assist with due diligence efforts related to corporate and transactional matters
- Monitor regulatory developments and analyze their impact on client operations
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to support complex client matters
- Maintain effective communication with clients, government agencies, opposing counsel, and internal teams
TechComm Associate Requirements
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission or eligibility for admission in the District of Columbia
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience or demonstrated interest in telecommunications, communications, media, technology, regulatory, administrative, or appellate law
- Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Professionalism in working with clients, colleagues, and government agencies
