Branch Manager

Lead a Branch. Build a Culture. Drive Profitability.
We are seeking a high-impact Branch Manager to lead our McHenry Division. This is not a desk job — this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for culture, performance, profitability, and growth.
You will set the tone for the entire branch, leading Account Managers, Production Leaders, and Administrative staff while owning full P&L performance. If you are a culture-driven operator who understands that safety, accountability, and client satisfaction fuel EBITDA — we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Own
🌱 Culture & Leadership (Top Priority)
- Build and protect a high-performance, high-respect culture
- Develop Account Managers and Production Leaders into accountable operators
- Lead with strong field and office visibility
- Promote safety as a non-negotiable standard
- Drive engagement through consistent branch meetings
- Address performance issues directly and constructively
💰 Financial Performance & P&L Ownership
- Full branch P&L responsibility
- Drive gross margins across maintenance, enhancements, and snow
- Monitor revenue vs. budget and margin vs. targets
- Review labor hours bid vs. actual performance monthly
- Partner with Finance on monthly close review
- Protect and grow EBITDA performance
️ Operational Excellence
- Oversee all production and account management operations
- Ensure operating systems are utilized for accurate scheduling and tracking
- Maintain fleet and equipment standards
- Prepare snow operations pre-season
- Drive preventative maintenance compliance
👥 Team Development & Accountability
- Set clear KPIs for Account Managers, Production Leaders, and Admin
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews
- Coach underperformers and build future leaders
- Partner with HR on hiring and retention strategies
📈 Client & Revenue Growth
- Support client retention and renewal strategies
- Participate in key client meetings
- Drive enhancement growth initiatives
- Collaborate with Business Development during contract turnover

What We’re Looking For
- Proven branch, operations, or regional leadership experience in commercial landscaping or similar service industry
- Demonstrated full P&L ownership
- Strong financial acumen and labor management skills
- Track record of building culture and developing leaders
- Operational discipline and systems accountability
- Snow operations experience preferred
- High visibility, hands-on leadership style
