Finance Director
A growing multi-unit hospitality and retail group is seeking a strategic finance leader to help scale its dynamic, community-focused brand. Finance Director Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of finance leadership experience, ideally in hospitality, bakery, or food production
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- CPA preferred but not required
- Experience managing vendor contracts and purchasing terms
- Proficiency in Restaurant365 (or similar platform) and Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Finance Director Preferred Background & Skills
- Hands-on, collaborative leadership style
- Prior experience supporting multi-unit or growth-oriented hospitality concepts
- Interest in innovative, sustainable business models
Finance Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee all accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense policies
- Manage purchasing contracts and vendor relationships in collaboration with operations
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights and guidance
- Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and robust financial processes
- Prepare and present regular financial reporting to ownership and executive leadership
