Chief Operating Officer – Fort Worth

Chief Operating Officer Requirements & Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in operations, hospitality, retail, food manufacturing, distribution, or related industries
- 5+ years managing leaders and developing high-performing management teams
- Proven experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing teams across multiple departments
- Strong track record managing budgets, financial performance, labor planning, and operational scorecards
- Demonstrated ability to scale systems, processes, and teams during growth periods
- Business acumen with experience analyzing financial statements, operational reports, and key metrics
- Experience leading strategic initiatives from planning through execution
- Ability to travel regularly between company locations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred but not required
Chief Operating Officer Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in multi-unit or multi-department retail, restaurant, hospitality, food manufacturing, or franchise operations
- Familiarity with systems such as Zenput, Trainual, Homebase, Slack, Square POS, Notion, and MarketMan
- Operates with a coaching mindset and commitment to culture and people-first leadership
- Background in organizations operating on EOS or similar business frameworks
Chief Operating Officer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership across all business areas, including retail shops, production, catering, events, wholesale, and logistics
- Establish and monitor company metrics, budgets, and processes to drive sales growth and profitability
- Analyze operational, sales, and financial data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
- Coach and develop Leadership Team members, fostering accountability and professional growth
- Create and improve systems and standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and scalability
- Ensure strong alignment, communication, and shared priorities across all departments
- Oversee organizational structure, talent planning, and workforce strategy to support sustainable growth
- Foster a values-driven culture rooted in joy, quality, and connection, ensuring exceptional customer and team experiences
