Sommelier / Beverage Manager Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $75,000 – $80,000
- Annual Bonus: Up to 10% based on key performance metrics

Sommelier / Beverage Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the beverage program, including ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Lead a 10-person bar team, handling scheduling, training, and performance
- Curate and update wine and cocktail menus (2–3 times annually)
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on food and beverage pairings
- Maintain professional bar operations standards during service
- Drive bar profitability through innovation, cost control, and guest engagement
- Support service both on the floor and behind the bar as needed
- Uphold professional appearance and hospitality standards
Sommelier / Beverage Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of bar or beverage leadership in upscale, chef-driven restaurants
- Level II Sommelier Certification or equivalent wine expertise required
- Strong cocktail and spirits knowledge, including seasonal menu development
- Proven team leadership and scheduling experience
- Comfortable managing daily bar logistics, training, and product mix
- Highly professional communication, guest service, and presentation skills
Preferred Background & Skills
- Balanced background in wine, spirits, and cocktail program management
- Experience managing beverage programs with both cost control and creativity
- Prior success in rebuilding or refreshing bar teams and concepts
- Hands-on operator who leads by example during service
- Able to work autonomously and manage up when needed
