Project Manager – Private Works (Livermore, CA)

Project Manager Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary of $120,000–$172,000

Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 6–10 years of construction experience
- Background with a General Engineering Class A contractor as a Project Manager
- Experience with private work construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or Construction Management (BSCM) preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid and CPR certification, and Competent Person training
- Physical ability to work in active construction environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and endure varying outdoor conditions
Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Prior experience on underground pipelines, pump stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, site utilities, or complex civil works
- Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, subcontractors, engineers, and owners
Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s on-site representative, engaging with all project stakeholders
- Plan, direct, and coordinate field engineering activities to achieve project goals on time and within budget
- Review job files, drawings, specifications, and manage submittals, schedules, and contracts
- Organize and lead pre-construction meetings and job setup documentation
- Develop site logistics and manage procurement, labor, and subcontractor coordination
- Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and compliance throughout all project phases
- Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, final walkthroughs, and as-built documentation
- Respond to time-sensitive issues and travel between project sites as needed
