We are seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join a dynamic team representing national and international insurers. This role involves handling complex insurance coverage matters across the United States, including issues related to pollution, toxic torts, asbestos, construction defect, products liability, errors and omissions, and excess liability. Senior Attorney Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute litigation strategies for insurance coverage disputes, including class actions.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and produce detailed analytical memoranda.
- Review insurance policies, evaluate claims, and provide actionable coverage advice.
- Handle depositions, both taking and defending, with thorough preparation.
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other critical legal documents.
- Attend court proceedings, mediations, and manage junior attorneys and paralegals.
Senior Attorney Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in all New York courts; dual admission in New Jersey preferred.
- 5–10 years of insurance coverage litigation experience, with a focus on product liability policies.
- Significant deposition experience and proficiency in both state and federal courts.
- Strong academic background and a proven professional track record.
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
