Hotel Assistant General Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of hotel management experience, including department head, AGM, or equivalent leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest satisfaction metrics, and revenue management principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Hotel Assistant General Manager Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience with Hilton-branded or other major hotel franchise systems
- Track record of developing high-performing teams and improving guest satisfaction scores
- Familiarity with budgeting, labor management, and operational reporting
- Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment
