Regional Sales Manager – Commercial Lighting
Northern New Jersey / New York Metropolitan Area
Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

We're partnering with a growing commercial lighting manufacturer seeking a relationship-driven sales leader to expand market presence throughout the Northern New Jersey and New York metropolitan region.

What You'll Do
- Drive territory growth through strategic business development efforts
- Develop new relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, designers, specifiers, and end users
- Expand existing customer accounts while identifying new revenue opportunities
- Strengthen and manage relationships with lighting representatives and channel partners
- Promote commercial, architectural, specialty, and custom lighting solutions
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Identify and pursue large project opportunities throughout the territory
- Monitor market activity, industry trends, and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of lighting industry experience
- Strong existing network within the lighting market
- Proven success generating new business and growing revenue
- Experience selling through distributors, rep agencies, contractors, and specification channels
- Established relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, architects, designers, and specifiers
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a true hunter mentality
- Ability to work independently while contributing to company growth initiatives
