Event Sales Specialist Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sponsorship, media, conference, or event sales experience
- Demonstrated quota attainment and proven measurable sales performance
- Full-cycle sales experience, from prospecting to closing enterprise contracts valued at in the tens of thousands
- Experience selling to senior-level decision-makers, including VP, C-suite, and marketing leadership
- Strong prospecting, closing, presentation, and communication skills
- Stable career history with evidence of strong tenure in previous roles
- Hunter mentality and a demonstrated ability to build new business
Event Sales Specialist Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and AI-enabled sales technology
- B2B consultative selling background in events, conferences, or media solutions
Event Sales Specialist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prospect, engage, and sell sponsorships and partnership opportunities to enterprise organizations
- Build, nurture, and manage relationships with senior decision-makers across industries
- Drive consistent sales performance aligned with company growth objectives
