Senior Commercial Credit & Collections Manager
A well-established industrial and transportation organization is seeking a Senior Commercial Credit & Collections Manager to lead its commercial credit, collections, and accounts receivable function. This leadership role oversees a team of seven professionals while driving credit strategy, reducing risk, improving cash flow, and partnering with executive leadership to support continued growth.

Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial credit and collections leadership experience
- Experience reviewing financial statements and making commercial credit decisions
- Proven ability to establish credit limits, assess risk, and manage customer exposure
- Experience leading and developing credit and collections teams
- Background in manufacturing, industrial distribution, transportation, heavy equipment, trucking, dealership, fleet, or commercial services
Preferred Experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial collections, accounts receivable, and credit risk management
- Experience improving DSO, aging, cash flow, and collection performance
- Comfortable working with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership
- Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and portfolio reporting
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of seven credit and collections professionals
- Review customer financial statements and approve commercial credit decisions
- Establish and manage customer credit limits and monitor portfolio risk
- Drive improvements in collections, cash flow, DSO, and delinquency performance
- Resolve complex customer credit and collection issues
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to balance customer relationships with sound credit practices
- Analyze portfolio performance and present recommendations to senior leadership
