Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of Restaurant Manager experience in full-service, high-volume restaurants
- Proven ability to manage $3M+ in annual sales volume
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, labor management, and cost controls
- Track record of developing and promoting leaders from within
- Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence
- Experience in driving guest satisfaction and managing online reputation
Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in a scratch kitchen or high-volume casual dining concepts
- Background in organizations with structured training and systems
- Experience opening new restaurants or leading turnarounds
- Strong tenure history showing stability and growth
- Familiarity with inventory systems, ordering platforms, and scheduling software
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
