Now Hiring: General Manager – Food & Beverage Operations

An upscale, high-volume hospitality operation located in Washington DC, is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager / F&B Director to oversee full Food & Beverage operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving performance across multiple outlets within a luxury hotel environment, including a high-profile free-standing restaurant and a robust banquet and events program.
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in both structured hotel environments and chef-driven restaurant settings.
What You’ll Oversee
- Full F&B operations within a luxury hotel setting
- Standalone, high-volume restaurant operations
- Banquets, catering, and private events (including large-scale functions and VIP programming)
- Multiple revenue centers: restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquet operations
- Financial performance, full P&L accountability, forecasting, and revenue growth
- Guest experience strategy and service culture development
- Team recruitment, training, and leadership development
- Collaboration with hotel executive leadership and ownership
Ideal Background
- Proven General Manager or Director-level experience in a luxury or upscale hotel F&B environment
- A background in a free-standing, high-volume restaurant a plus
- Extensive banquet and events leadership experience
- Experience managing multiple revenue streams simultaneously
- Deep understanding of food, beverage, wine, and service standards
- Strong financial acumen with cost controls and labor management expertise
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $130,000 – $140,000
