Now Hiring: Sous Chef – New Restaurant Opening

A brand-new, chef-driven concept is preparing to open in McLean, VA, and we’re looking for a skilled Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef and help lead the kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team from day one, contribute to menu execution, and help create a culture of culinary excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring consistent food quality
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, helping to build a high-performing team
- Assist with food preparation, recipe execution, and portion control
- Help maintain inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
- Play a key role in pre-opening activities, including staff training and kitchen setup
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–4+ years of culinary experience in upscale or polished casual dining
- Prior experience in restaurant openings preferred
- Strong hands-on leadership skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen
- Knowledge of food costing, inventory, and kitchen operations
- Passion for culinary excellence, consistency, and guest satisfaction
- Energetic, adaptable, and thrives in a high-volume environment
