We are seeking an experienced Event & Banquet Manager to lead and grow a dynamic events program in one of the most sought-after hospitality markets in the country — The Hamptons.
This is an opportunity for a hospitality professional who understands the rhythm of seasonal business and knows how to maximize peak months while strategically driving revenue during the off-season.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all event and banquet operations from inquiry through execution
- Manage weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and social gatherings
- Lead banquet staff and coordinate closely with culinary and front-of-house teams
- Maintain exceptional service standards and client satisfaction
- Develop and execute strategies to increase off-season bookings
- Cultivate relationships with planners, local businesses, and repeat clientele
- Own event P&L performance, forecasting, and revenue growth initiatives
- Ensure seamless on-site execution and problem resolution
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of event/banquet management experience in high-end hospitality
- Strong understanding of seasonal markets (experience in The Hamptons or similar markets is a plus)
- Proven ability to drive revenue during slower months
- Hands-on leadership style with strong operational discipline
- Excellent client-facing communication and negotiation skills
- Financial acumen with an understanding of margins and event profitability
- Ability to thrive in high-volume summer months while planning strategically year-round
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000 Base Salary
- 2% Commission on booked business
