Plant Manager

Plant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership and team management experience in a manufacturing plant environment
- Advanced knowledge of the ISO 901-2105 standard and systems, OSHA regulations and inventory control practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Kronos, and other relevant plant and production software
- Cost accounting fundamentals and proven ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to manage safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
Plant Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control methods
- Familiarity with transportation and shipping software
- Ability to travel between facilities as needed
Plant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all plant operations including production, scheduling, safety, quality assurance, and cost management
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant leadership team including shift, quality, and maintenance managers
- Maintain production schedules and implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
- Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance, ensuring a secure and clean plant environment
- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, safety, efficiency, and quality
- Manage plant inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve challenges and optimize operations
- Prepare reports, manage budgets, and ensure accurate administrative and compliance recordkeeping
