Head Baker Responsibilities
- Lead daily production of breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items to established quality standards
- Operate and maintain baking equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and presentation to ensure consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Manage ingredient inventory and communicate ordering needs
- Collaborate on seasonal menu development and new product offerings
Head Baker Requirements
- 3+ years of professional baking experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards (ServSafe preferred)
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
