Our client, an eco-friendly, compostable food ware company based in New York, is looking for a National Sales Director to support their expansion.
National Sales Director Responsibilities:
- Expand revenue within the existing customer base and identify new business opportunities nationally.
- Analyze market competition and assess avenues for business development.
- Attend sales and trade shows to promote current and new products.
- Conduct in-person visits to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
National Sales Director Requirements:
- 8-10 years of Sales Management experience, specifically in compostable food packaging. (Bagasse tableware collection, including plates, platters, bowls, and hinged take-out containers.)
- Proficient in conducting high-level sales meetings and presentations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and capitalizing on market trends.
- True hunter mentality for sales.
- Expertise in dealing with Brokers and Distributors.
