Managing Partner – Insurance Defense Litigation Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 consecutive years practicing general liability insurance defense.
- Current role tenure of at least 3 years (5+ preferred).
- Prior partner experience, minimum 2–3 years.
- Significant litigation and trial experience, able to handle matters from inception through trial.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Experience supervising attorneys and/or staff.
- Florida Bar admission in good standing.
- Portable business is welcomed but not required.
Managing Partner – Insurance Defense Litigation Preferred Background & Skills
- Demonstrated success building or growing a practice or office.
- Interest in proactive litigation strategy and mentoring attorneys.
- Comfort with modern technology systems and remote-flexible operations.
Managing Partner – Insurance Defense Litigation Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead litigation strategy on a low-caseload, high-quality model (~15 active cases).
- Mentor, manage, and develop attorneys and staff.
- Oversee daily operations and drive office growth.
- Build and manage client relationships.
- Guide business development activities and regional expansion.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to uphold high standards of service and representation.
