Front of House Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous restaurant leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong guest service and hospitality mindset
- Ability to lead and motivate hourly teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience handling guest concerns and resolving issues professionally
- Ability to support food, labor, and operational cost controls
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- Basic computer and restaurant systems knowledge preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Front of House Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Fast casual, buffet, family dining, or casual dining experience
- Experience leading front-of-house operations in high-volume environments
- Strong floor presence and guest interaction skills
- Team-oriented leadership style
- Experience with coaching and developing hourly employees
- Positive and hospitality-first mentality
- Experience utilizing guest feedback systems or online reviews to improve operations
- Stable career progression and strong tenure preferred
