Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum NACI/SF85 background investigation eligibility
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must Haves:
- Serve as the primary Contract Manager responsible for overall HVAC REOS contract performance
- Oversee HVAC system design reviews, commissioning, and re-commissioning activities
- Lead development and execution of Quality Control Plans, Work Progress Schedules, and Monthly Status Reports
- Apply engineering judgment to resolve complex HVAC operational, design, construction, and commissioning issues
- Ensure compliance with Engineering Technical Letters, Unified Facilities Criteria, and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications
Preferred Background & Skills:
- 10+ years of HVAC system design, construction, and operational experience
- 5+ years as a senior engineer overseeing multi-disciplinary HVAC efforts
- Extensive Testing and Balancing (TAB) and commissioning experience
- Strong knowledge of energy modeling, load calculations, system selection, and equipment sizing
- Experience with direct digital controls and building management systems
- Familiarity with DoD mechanical codes and criteria governing HVAC systems
