Business Development Manager Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales or business development experience required; 5+ years strongly preferred
- Luxury hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, multifamily, or related industry experience highly preferred
- Proven ability to generate leads, prospect independently, and close new corporate accounts
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals and performance metrics
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Skilled at overcoming objections and navigating complex sales conversations
- Self-motivated with a strong “hunter” mentality and entrepreneurial mindset
- Customer-focused with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to service
- Comfortable learning and utilizing CRM systems and sales tools; experience with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and/or Zendesk Sell is a plus
- Flexible schedule with the ability to adapt to changing business and client needs
- Reliable transportation required for daily networking events, client meetings, and sales appointments
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
- Prospect heavily daily and manage a designated geographic territory to uncover new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with relocation consultants, HR professionals, executive assistants, global mobility contacts, and other key decision-makers
- Conduct guided tours of luxury furnished apartment communities and showcase hospitality-driven services and amenities
- Promote flexible-stay housing solutions across industries, including technology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, finance, insurance, retail, entertainment, and sports
- Develop and expand existing corporate relationships to increase account growth and referrals
- Track outreach efforts, pipeline activity, and sales progress through CRM reporting and communication with leadership
- Achieve and exceed individual and community sales goals
- Collaborate closely with on-site teams and leadership to ensure an exceptional experience for prospects, partners, clients, and residents
- Represent the brand professionally within the local business community through networking and relationship-building initiatives
