Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant
- Ability to pass SIDA badging, as the restaurant is located behind security
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and general computer literacy
- Demonstrated ability to lead and respond efficiently to unanticipated problems
Kitchen Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Familiarity with American cuisine and contemporary culinary techniques
- Experience managing inventory, portion control, and food costs
- Strong leadership skills, with a focus on employee development and upholding performance standards
Kitchen Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations, setting high standards for food preparation and presentation while motivating your team
- Supervise and delegate food preparation, ensuring smooth collaboration between front- and back-of-house
