We’re launching an intimate, chef-driven, high-end bar concept in the Arts District and are seeking passionate Sous Chefs and Line Cooks to join our opening team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a thoughtfully designed space (under 30 seats) inspired by top-tier cocktail bars – featuring elevated design, state-of-the-art equipment, and a true craftsmanship culture.
This role is ideal for culinary professionals who thrive in small-team environments, enjoy hands-on leadership, and want to grow within a concept-forward kitchen.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Assist with seasonal menu development and daily specials
- Execute prep, line service, and maintain smooth service flow in an intimate setting
- Uphold high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Lead by example and help mentor/train team members
- Support ordering, inventory, and basic cost controls
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Collaborate closely with the beverage team for thoughtful pairing and concept alignment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in upscale or chef-driven restaurant environments preferred
- Passion for seasonal cooking, technique, and craftsmanship
- Strong work ethic with a collaborative mindset
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, small-footprint kitchen
- For Sous Chef candidates: prior leadership experience and desire to mentor others
- For Line Cook candidates: solid fundamentals with eagerness to learn and grow
