Are you a proven sales leader ready to scale a high-performing business development team in a fast-growing commercial landscaping and snow services company?
We’re seeking a Director of Business Development & Sales to lead pipeline growth, drive strategic expansion, and build a best-in-class sales engine across multi-state operations. This is a high-impact leadership role partnering closely with executive leadership, operations, marketing, and sales teams to fuel long-term revenue and profitability.
🚀 What You’ll Do
As Director of Business Development & Sales, you will:
• Lead and scale the Business Development/Sales team across multiple locations
• Own sales strategy, KPIs, forecasting, and pipeline performance
• Drive new business growth across landscaping, snow removal, enhancements, irrigation, and construction services
• Implement consistent sales processes and reporting across all divisions
• Leverage tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, CoStar, and LoopNet to maximize results
• Partner with leadership to support company-wide growth initiatives
• Assist with complex RFPs, contracts, and large-scale bids
• Develop compensation plans that motivate performance and align with market standards
• Ensure seamless handoff from business development to account management
• Collaborate with Marketing on seasonal campaigns and outreach strategies
• Mentor and develop sales leaders while reinforcing company culture

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Landscape Management, Horticulture, or related field
• 5–7+ years of sales leadership experience in commercial landscaping and snow services
• Deep knowledge of landscape maintenance, snow removal, enhancements, irrigation, and construction operations
• Proven success leading multi-location sales teams
• Strong financial acumen (forecasting, budgeting, P&L exposure)
• Expertise with CRM and sales platforms (Salesforce required)
• Experience with industry software such as Aspire, LMN, BOSS, Viaesys, Yeti, or similar
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
• Self-driven, resilient, and growth-minded
