We are on the search for a Chef who has managed a large BOH team, who sets high standards and expectations, who is fast, has strong attention to detail, and where cleanliness of your kitchen is mandatory. We are on the search for an Executive Chef who understands both FOH and BOH operations, has strong communication skills, and loves to coach and mentor their team in a kitchen with a respectful workplace culture.
Executive Chef Benefits:

Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily operation, leadership, and management of the back of house – both sushi line and kitchen line
- Participate in weekly manager meetings and communicate the information to your team
- Menu development, food costing, and analysis
- Recruit and train new hires
- Scheduling – we use HotSchedules and Excel
- Ensure that the quality of work is maintained
Executive Chef Requirements:
- At least three years of previous experience in a similar role
- High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary preferred
- Skills needed to be successful in the role: problem-solving, written and verbal communication, delegation, talent assessment, and coaching
- Ability to utilize software: Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Google Docs, and HotSchedules
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
