Senior Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of project management and architectural experience, executing all phases of industrial and manufacturing projects
- Strong experience with design and delivery of industrial buildings such as warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and specification writing software (Masterspec, BSD SpecLink)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including formal client presentations and team mentoring
- Excellent organizational and financial management abilities
- Working knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines
- Professional Architectural or Engineering licensure preferred
Senior Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple industrial projects from concept through construction administration
- Oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Direct and mentor project teams—coordinating plans, specifications, and documentation
- Serve as primary client contact, maintaining positive relationships and managing expectations
- Develop project work plans, proposals, and schedules
- Interface with authorities, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and constructability issues
- Participate in business development, marketing efforts, and key office initiatives
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative environment focused on continual improvement and innovation
