A progressive healthcare organization is seeking a seasoned, hands-on Sous Chef to join an innovative, high-volume culinary team. This is a leadership role for someone who leads from the front, thrives in the kitchen, and contributes value immediately.
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Support daily kitchen operations in a high-volume, open-kitchen environment
- Lead by example with hands-on prep, service, and cleanup
- Ensure strong mise en place, organization, and execution
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff
- Collaborate on menu development and process improvements
- Serve as a professional ambassador in a guest-facing setting
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on kitchen experience
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of kitchen logistics and mise en place
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Healthcare foodservice experience a plus, not required
