Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Butchering experience required; scratch kitchen experience preferred
- Passion for culinary excellence and a team-driven kitchen culture
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm, organized, and composed under pressure
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate all back-of-house team members, overseeing operations and food production
- Train and mentor kitchen leaders and staff to uphold quality and consistency
- Oversee butchering, portion control, and ensure daily execution of quality recipes
- Maintain high standards for kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance
- Interview, hire, and develop team members to achieve staffing goals
- Manage ordering of produce, seafood, and other supplies
- Conduct accurate bi-weekly inventory counts
- Collaborate with management to consistently deliver an outstanding guest experience
