Litigation Associate Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of litigation experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in written discovery, legal research, and drafting motions
- Excellent academic credentials with highly developed writing and analytical skills
- Active member of the state bar in the office’s jurisdiction or eligible for admission by waiver
Litigation Associate Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in health care litigation is a plus but not required
Litigation Associate Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work closely with partners and clients on health care and commercial litigation matters
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions and briefs
- Manage all phases of written discovery and fact investigations
- Prepare for hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and provide actionable recommendations
- Support case strategy and collaborate in team-based environments
