A U.S. based manufacturer is hiring a Trade Compliance Analyst to support import and export compliance at a high activity production facility. This role owns classification, documentation accuracy, broker coordination, and regulatory compliance execution to ensure smooth cross border movement of goods.
Trade Compliance Analyst What You Will Do
- Manage import export documentation including invoices, declarations, and shipping paperwork
- Assign HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN classifications based on technical specifications
- Monitor and interpret compliance requirements including EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and customs regulations
- Partner with logistics, purchasing, sales, and engineering to ensure compliant execution
- Coordinate customs brokers and freight forwarders for timely clearance and issue resolution
- Support internal audits and maintain records to ensure government audit readiness
- Assist with USMCA, duty drawback, and other trade program activity as needed
- Drive process improvements, training, and reporting to reduce compliance risk
Trade Compliance Analyst What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, international trade, or related field required
- CCS or CES certification required
- 3 to 5 years experience in trade compliance, import export, or customs brokerage preferred
- Strong HTS and ECCN classification capability
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Trade compliance software or ERP exposure preferred, SAP GTS is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States with no sponsorship required
- Onsite role in Fort Valley, GA
