FSE Qualifications Include:
- 5-7 years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
- Proficiency with high-tolerance multi-axis alignment CNC equipment (5-axis strongly preferred)
- Communicating with customers and responding to their concerns
- This role is approximately 60% mechanical, and 40% electrical based, with some pneumatics. Ability to read circuit diagrams highly desired.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. and internationally for extended periods of time
- Proficient in computer skills including MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- Degree or equivalent experience + some education
- Strong communication and self-initiative
FSE Responsibilities Include:
- Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repair on EDM, Laser and STEM equipment
- Axis alignment to ensure correct operation and functionality of machinery
- Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and timely follow-up
- Maintaining tools and test equipment to ensure they are properly calibrated
- Meeting all safety and regulatory requirements
- Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, renewals, and spare parts sales
- Deliver training onsite and in-house
