The Key Account Director position performs a role where in-depth knowledge of engineering, operations, data center construction and business challenges faced by Hyper Scaler, Cloud and Data Center Service Providers. We are seeking someone with strong knowledge of contractors who construct data centers.
Key Account Director Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with data center contractors while driving new business and customer satisfaction.
- Distinguish between tactical and strategic opportunities and apply appropriate sales strategies to meet customer and market needs.
- Develop and execute business plans that win customers and maximize profitable delivery of products and services.
- Create and implement account plans, capture strategies, and proposals in collaboration with Sales and Professional Services teams.
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities across a broad portfolio of services and solutions with support from inside sales teams.
Key Account Director Requirements and Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of successful sales experience.
- At least 7 years of industry-specific experience.
- Past sales experience in physical infrastructure solutions and logistical support sales to hyper scale and cloud associated service providers and contractors
- Up to 50% travel required
